If you look closely at the face of this juvenile Casque-headed Lizard (<i>Corytophanes cristatus</i>) you can see the moss and lichen just starting to take hold and grow around the labial scales and eyes.
  • This male <i>Oophaga granulifera</i> is from a large, not publicly known population. This species has had entire local populations wiped out due to people collecting every last individual to sell in the exotic pet trade.
